The PALS certification course is designed for healthcare professionals working in pediatric settings or in pediatric care. This includes doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare providers who want to enhance their skills in managing pediatric emergencies.
Participants are generally required to have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification before enrolling in the PALS course.
The PALS certification course at Utah CPR Classes lasts 5-6 hours, depending on individual learning needs. It includes both online learning modules and hands-on practice.
During the PALS course, you will learn advanced techniques for managing pediatric emergencies, including CPR, airway management, recognition and treatment of pediatric arrhythmias, and management of cardiovascular and respiratory emergencies in children and infants.
